3.7. Replacement of motive oil and oil filter

The long contact of skin with the fulfilled motive oil is quite dangerous. Use protective cream and put on gloves during this procedure. Replace the clothes which became impregnated with oil immediately.


Frequent replacement of motive oil is the main preventive procedure of service, to the available amateur mechanic. Eventually oil is subject to fluidifying and pollution that leads to premature wear of the engine.

Motive oil can be extorted by means of the special probe (is available at gas stations) through a tube of the probe of measurement of level of oil. After that it is necessary to fill system with oil, as a rule.

Do not pour out the fulfilled oil together with household waste or otherwise. It can cause environmental pollution.

Expediently when replacing oil to fix on the engine a label with brand of oil and its viscosity.

Use of oils of various types adversely affects operation of the engine. It is not recommended to mix various brands of oils also. Motive oils of the same type and brand, but various viscosity in necessary cases, in particular in off-season, can mix up.

Necessary tool:

· A viewing ditch or the hydroelevator with supports (if oil is not sucked away).
· A head for an otvorachivaniye of a drain stopper.
· The special tool for a filter otvorachivaniye (a key for the filter, a tape key or the HAZET 2172 tool).
· Capacity for collecting oil (if oil is not sucked away) with a capacity not less than 6 l.

Necessary spare parts and expendables:

· Only if oil is not sucked away: an aluminum or copper sealing ring for a drain stopper (are sometimes delivered together with an oil filter).
· Oil filter.
· Necessary amount of motive oil. Apply the oil resolved by the manufacturer, address Specifications.

Removal of motive oil

Motive oil can be removed with an exhaustion method, through an opening of the probe or is merged from the case pallet.

Suction requires the corresponding pump. At the same time it is necessary to watch that the hose corresponded to an opening and had sufficient length.

If oil is sucked away, pay attention to special remarks at the end of the section.

The volumes specified in Specifications are approximate. Anyway it is necessary to check oil level by means of the index or the indicator on the control panel. The description given below belongs first of all to the petrol engine. Differences for the diesel engine are given in the end of the Section.


1. Warm up the engine up to the working temperature. For this purpose start the engine and wait that temperature of cooling liquid on the control panel reached normal value or that the hose of a radiator got warm. After that pass not less than 5 km that temperature of motive oil reached a preset value.
2. Remove the top cover of the engine.

3. Turn off a cover of an oil filter (1) by means of a key of HAZET 2169 (2) and a head on 27 mm. On an illustration the engine 611 is shown.

4. Take out a cover of an oil filter with the filtering element.
5. Suck away oil by means of the special device through an opening for the index of level.

 Concerning the engine 111.955 of the remark are provided in the end of the Section.

6. If the device for suction of oil is unavailable, merge oil. For this purpose install the car horizontally on supports or over a viewing ditch.

 Lifting operation and installations of the car on supports is connected with danger! Therefore before carrying out operation study Poddomkrachivaniye's Section and towage of Introduction to the management.

7. Remove the lower cover of a motive compartment, address the Section Removal and installation of a cover of a motive compartment from the bottom.

 You watch that at a reversing of a stopper of a drain opening hot motive oil did not get on a palm.

8 Turn out a stopper (1) of a drain opening from the pallet of a case (2) and let's oil merge completely.

9. Screw a stopper with new sealing laying and tighten the moment 30 Nanometers.
10. Remove the container with the merged oil from under the engine.

If in motive oil in a large number metal shaving and products of wear are found, it indicates a possibility of zadir, for example, of damages of bearings of a bent shaft and rods. For elimination of consequences of damages after repair of the engine it is necessary to clean oil channels and hoses carefully. Besides, in the presence of the oil heater it is necessary to replace it.

11. Establish into place the lower cover of a motive compartment, address the Section Removal and installation of a cover of a motive compartment from the bottom.
12. Lower the car on wheels.

13. Replace a sealing ring (3).

14. Insert the new filtering element into a cover.
15. Screw a screw cover with a new sealing ring and tighten the moment 25 Nanometers.

Gas station of oil


1. Open a cover (1) and fill in new oil through a branch pipe of a cover of a head of cylinders. (2) – index of level of oil.

It is recommended to pour at first on Ѕ in oil l less, than it is necessary, to warm up the engine and in a few minutes to check oil level by means of the index of level (2), if necessary to add oil. Surplus of oil needs to be sucked away, otherwise laying or epiploons of the engine and the catalytic converter can be damaged.

2. Establish into place the top cover of the engine.
3. Pass on the car and check tightness of a stopper of a drain opening. If necessary carefully tighten a stopper.
4. In 2 min. after a stop of the engine double-check oil level, if necessary modify it.
Engine 111.955: At suction of oil keep in mind the following:
5. Before suction disconnect a hose between a separator of oil and the directing pipe of the index of level by means of a clip, for example, of HAZET-4590.
6. Suck away oil.
7. Remove a clip.

Do not forget to remove a clip since otherwise the separated oil will not flow down in the case pallet, will be drained in by the engine and at the same time the measuring instrument of mass of air will be littered.
