1. Lift and install the car on supports.
2. Remove a back part of system of release, address the Section Removal, installation of system of release and check of tightness.

3. Unscrew screws of fastening and take out the thermofilter (1).

4. Diesel engine: Remove the lower facing of the car.
5. RKPP: Disconnect a stiffening rib at the central block of gear shifting.
6. AT: Disconnect a stiffening rib (2). (3) – driveshaft.

7. Unscrew screws of fastening (1) and disconnect the forward driveshaft from the check point. At the same time the coupling has to remain on the driveshaft. That the driveshaft was not turned, hold it a tape key.

8. Disconnect the back driveshaft from the main transfer. At the same time the flange has to remain on the driveshaft.

9. Weaken the directing plugs in driveshaft flanges by means of a cylindrical drift (= 10 – 12 mm, length = about 150 mm). Bring a support under the driveshaft that it at removal did not bend under a big corner. Otherwise, in particular, at the hinge of equal angular speeds protection covers can be crumpled.

10. Turn off bolts of fastening of an intermediate support, keeping it from a provorachivaniye. If necessary remove washers from bolts. At installation they need to be established on former places.

11. Remove the driveshaft from the aligning pins at the check point and on a flange of the main transfer and take out a shaft back.
12. If it is necessary, disunite forward and back driveshafts on shlitsevy connection.

13 If forward and back driveshafts were disconnected, connect them. At the same time pay attention to the markings put on both shaft. The ledge of a forward shaft has to be between two ledges on a hinged fork. Before assembly grease shlitsevy connection with Molykote lubricant. Close connection by a protective cover.
14 Fill cavities of both aligning plugs, each 6 g of universal lubricant (MERCEDES 267/0, for example, of "Aral Langzeitfett H" or "Elf Multi") and install the driveshaft into place.
15 Fix an intermediate support of the driveshaft by the moment of 30 Nanometers.
16 Fix the back driveshaft to the main transfer by the efforts specified in Specifications.
17 Fix the forward driveshaft to the check point by the efforts specified in Specifications.
18 AT: Fix a stiffening rib in front by the moment of 23 Nanometers.
19 RKPP: Fix a cross stiffening rib to the central block of switching by the moment of 23 Nanometers.
20 Diesel engine: Establish into place the lower facing of the car.
21 Fix the heat-shielding screen. If necessary replace nuts.
22 Establish a back part of system of release, address the Section Removal, installation of system of release and check of tightness.
23 Lower the car on wheels.
